This has also been called text neck.
The World Health Organization has recently classified neck disorders as the 4th leading cause of disability in the world and they are the 2nd most common condition I treat in my clinic. Most patients I treat have not had a single traumatic incident, but have conditions due to what is called repetitive trauma such as tech neck.
