This is a new study from the Annals of Internal Medicine which reviewed 89 randomized controlled trials on knee hyaluronic acid injection for knee arthritis which showed minimal or no benefit and significant risk . This is another case of a highly popular orthopedic medical treatment being shown to be of little or no benefit and/or more dangerous than previously thought.
